The music says thunder-struck, the wedding around say love-struck: the groom and his friends are rocking together.

Awake
From the unfriendly light in The Silver Church, here is Awake in concert.

Shifting Sands
From a photographic point of view, where the light is of the essence, The Silver Church is the worst. Actually, most likely there are worse places with no light at all, but you got the point. Important was the performance delivered there by Shifting Sands, which deserved better support.

Gayageum
For the Korean national day I enjoyed a concert where the main attraction was the gayageum, their traditional string instrument.

Weirdo
I am reposting this picture, since the subject became recently a kind of international celebrity. The photo was made a couple of years ago, in May 2012, when I was in Vienna for the Libre Graphics Meeting conference and going out for some beer and schnitzel we passed by the Volkstheater where the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards happened. I could stay only a few minutes and then rejoined the group.

R.I.P. Ioana
Some people are too young to die. I just learned a fellow photographer is no longer with us, here's she in action at a metal concert, one of the things she enjoyed in life. In fact, that's how I knew her, as a concert photographer, sometime we were shooting shoulder to shoulder.

Parenting: music
"It's music to my ears" one could say when hearing the noise, and it probably is.

Tango Delivery
Tango in the streets is something you can see more and more happening in the city at various events, so it couldn't miss from this year's Street Delivery

Metal Crush
Even if titled "party", Metal Crush was in fact a 3 days metal festival with many bands, around 20 I guess, among which were Akral Necrosis, Infected Rain, Monarcy and Abigail (all pictured below):

Kids at the opera
At the Korean concert I saw those kids, watching the opera songs, can't say how much they enjoyed it.

Korean princess
For the Republic of Korea a somewhat unexpected show happened yesterday at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest: Korean artists singing opera. Voices aside (they were great), from a visual point of view the soprano Kim Hanna was a highlight, she looked and acted like an (European) princess.
The show was completed with another soprano, a baritone, two tenors and a piano player, all singing Italian and French opera and a few Korean songs.

Happy Easter!
I am no religious person (by the contrary!) but surely I can enjoy a holiday: a free day from work and good food, that's not something to pass :D And if I kind of celebrate the Easter, I should probably join it's spirit... not with candles, prayers, priests or shit like that but with bunnies! Here's a recently took picture of bunnies, enjoy :)
Note: in Romania the Easter is celebrated by the christian orthodox calendar and this year it takes place one week after the catholic holiday.

Shifting Sands + Monarchy @ Coyote
Yesterday Coyote Cafe in Bucharest hosted a metal concert, and while I missed the first band, Redox, I still managed to take pictures of the other two (in the order of appearance), Shifting Sands and Monarchy:

Yesterday Kulturhaus in Bucharest hosted a concert with Alternative 4, the new band formed by Duncan Patterson, who you may know for his activity back in Anathema:
